Who is Google CEO Sundar Pichai?

Background 

In full Pichai Sundararajan is a well known Indian born American computer scientist and CEO of google.Inc and its holding company Alphabet.Inc was born on 12 July,1972 in Madras now called Chennai. He was raised in a confined family where he used to slept with his brother in a living room. His father Regunatha Pichai was an electrical engineer in a multinational British company. His mother Lakshmi Pichai used to be a stenographer before having children. He has one brother. His father feels that Sundar is a quick pick guy who’s mental health is growing in a delightful way. At an early stage of life he showed interest in technologies and manifest extraordinary memory specially in telephone numbers.

Early education 

Sundar show extraordinary talent in his school  Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan and got a seat in Indian Institute of technology in Kharagpur which is one of the most prestigious engineering institution in India.

Higher education 

Sundar got his degree in B.Tech Metallurgical engineering IIT Kharagpur and got a scholarship to study material sciences and semi conductor physics from Stanford University and got his MS degree from that university.

Career start 

Sundar initially want to pursue his PHD degree from the very same university but eventually he dropped out and join applied materials a Silicon Valley semiconductor makers as an engineer and product manager, but he didn’t work there for long.

Pichai joined Google in 2004 as the head of product management and development.in early stage of joining he works on Google toolbar which is concern for providing access to Google search engine to those who are using Microsoft internet explorer and Mozilla Firefox.

With the passage of time he was directly involved in the development of Google’s own browser. where he comes with an idea of Google own browser for direct access to Google search engine. Pichai convinced the co-founders of Google Larry Page and Sergey Brin to launch Google’s own Chrome which was released to the public in 2008, chrome comes with the great success which allow users to directly access to Google search engine. In that same year Pichai was appointed as Vice president of product development because of the great success of Google’s own product.

Career peak

By 2012 he became the senior vice president of chrome and apps. Pichai in 2014  was consider to be the possible CEO for Microsoft, but he was granted large financial package to stay with Google. He was also known to have helped Google negotiate worth $3.2B deal to get Nest labs in 2014 therefore when Google co-founders Larry page and Sergey announced to creat a new company Alphabet Inc in August 2015, Pichai was named as CEO  of Google. After that in December 2019 he is also named to be CEO of Alphabet, replacing page because he stepped down from his chair.

After such a hard work and dedication toward his job Sundar Pichai acquire the place which is the dream of Million of people but he is the one who fulfill his dreams by his hard works and struggle.
