Get ready for the final “Bazinga!” Yes our favorite, The Big Bang Theory is coming to an end. It’s one of those series that seemingly never wanted to end – and yet, next year will be over: ” The Big Bang Theory ” starts in September 2018 in its twelfth and final season.
WHEN WILL THE LAST EPISODE “THE BIG BANG THEORY” RUN?
After 279 episodes , it will be in May 2019 for Sheldon, Lennart, Penny, Howard, Raj, Bernadette and Amy the series finale. When exactly the last episode aired is not yet known.
Producer Chuck Lorre , US broadcaster CBS and Warner Bros. Television said they were “eternally grateful” to fans of the series for their long-term support.

“We are forever grateful to our fans for their support of The Big Bang Theory during the past twelve seasons.” In a joint statement, Chuck Lorre Productions CBS and Warner Bros. Television said, “We, along with our team, cast, writers and crew, are extremely appreciative of the show’s success and aim to deliver a final season, and series finale, that will bring Big Bang Theory to an epic creative end.”
Since the launch in 2007, “The Big Bang Theory” has been one of the most successful comedy series worldwide, reaching up to 20 million US viewers at its best.
The leading actresses paid millions of dollars , for the previous seasons, the series creamed 52 Emmy nominations and ten profits.
The fans can at least look forward to more of Sheldon Cooper – last year’s series ” Young Sheldon ” with nine-year-old Sheldon will start a second season in September. And the series could continue in the coming years.
The idea of ”Young Sheldon” comes from Jim Parsons , who plays the character in “The Big Bang Theory”. He is also the narrator in the prequel series.
With a view to the possible end of The Big Bang Theory, last year he told The New York Times that it would be hard to stop playing Sheldon. At least he was still involved through “Young Sheldon”.
The Big Bang Theory final season Episode 1 will kick off on Monday, September, 24 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS, before moving to its regular time period on Thursday, September, 27 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
